Limno ovvero Lago. Lo specchio d’acqua che è già palcoscenico e scenografia del festival diventa in questa sezione protagonista e spunto per raccontare l’Acqua in tutte le sue forme dolci, come strumento di denuncia, indagine scientifica o suggestione acquatica tout court.
Limno, that means Lago (lake). The same lake, that’s already stage and set of the festival, becomes in this section protagonist and suggestion to tell something about fresh Water, like reports, scientific investigation or aquatic suggestion tout court.
-Premio Sui Generis NEW!!
Il premio Sui Generis è volto ad indagare il rapporto convenzione-innovazione, ovvero aderenza o libertà dal codice, nel tentativo di ampliare confini ristretti come l’horror, il western, lo sci-fi etc. Anche attraverso l’apparente restrizione dettata dal cortometraggio.
Sui Generis prize wants to test the relation between convention and innovation in a genre movie, trying to extend the narrow boundaries of horror, western, sci-fi etc. Even through what seems to be a restriction, the short length film.
-Premio regione Veneto
Dedicato ai lavori di registi e film-makers del territorio, con particolare riguardo verso opere che rappresentano, in maniera non retorica, il rapporto controverso che sempre lega l’uomo al luogo in cui è nato, spingendolo a mostrarne le curiosità, i paradossi, le amenità.
This section, dedicated to Veneto region directors and film-makers, wants to investigate the relation between the man and the lands where he was born and he grew up, whit its wonders and its paradoxes.

Il dolceamaro lamento I don’t wanna grow up di Tom Waits è la chiave di questa sezione, dove cortometraggi e animazioni pensati per l’infanzia si confondono con altri che non lo sono, ma che inconsapevolmente racchiudono e rivelano il bambino che vorremmo ancora essere.
Tom Waits bittersweet lament I don’t wanna grow up is the key of this section, where short films and animations purpose-made for childhood mix up with others that are not, but that enclose and disclose the child we still want to be.
