With the advent of Youtube and other socials and mediaplayers, everything in the videoclip world changed. So the industry changed, and videoclips which can now be teasers, rough, live and of course self-produced. One thing is for sure: the best video is still the one that adds value to the song, capturing its emotions. And then came Seeyousound…the “festival that was not there”. Born from an idea of the Choobamba association in 2015, it is the first in Italy to be entirely dedicated to the musical film. The success of the first edition was a confirmation of the attention and love that Italy and the world have for the huge universe of feature films, shorts, documentaries, reports and video clips that made music their linguistic and thought medium of choice.
