AUTOPSIA DI UN OGGETTO

Performance by Vittorio Marchis in collaboration with Fondazione Francesco Fabbri

Vittorio Marchis’s autopsies of objects are an encounter of science and theater. Conducted on the format of classic anatomy classes, his performances offer the audience a clever and refreshing approach to the world we live in. Under the hands of the Anatomist and his assistant, everyday household appliances such as a vacuum cleaner or a coffee machine are turned into experimental research objects.

By dissecting them, we explore the laws of science and better comprehend our daily relationship with technology. Vittorio Marchis is a professor of History of Science and Technique at the Polytechnic University of Turin.

An event in collaboration with the Francesco Fabbri Foundation of Pieve di Soligo, which will be presenting the upcoming Adriano Olivetti exhibition.
