BURATTINI E MARIONETTE

Puppets and street performances

It is back at Lago for the second consecutive year. A special section devoted to puppets and street performance curated with Alberto De Bastiani and his international puppet theatre festival. The project comes from the will to enhance a historical figure in the world of marionettes: Fausto Braga, who, in the early 1900s, brought this form of figure theatre to all of the villages of the region. An event that is now among the most appreciated ones nationally, in this context. The theatrical quality, the charme of the scenery of the old courtyards of Borgo Mescolino and especially the magical colours locals offer their visitors are unique. The festival is promoted by the Colle Umberto town council, in collaboration with the Il Piccolo Principe and Istadea association, under the artistic direction of Alberto De Bastiani.

Compagnia I Circondati
TRI QUATER
A clarinet and an organ give birth to a concert that, right from the beginning, cannot find a convenient location. In the absence of words, the two characters find their ideal language. Theirs is an illuminated idiocy, a ruleless game that only manages to find a proper conclusion in the verses of a poem.
