SCUOLA HOLDEN TRAINING CAMP – LFF2018

Write tv series

For the second consecutive year, Lago Film Fest will host one of the stages of the Training Camp – Writing TV Series course organised by Scuola Holden. The goal of the course is unchanged: helping emerging authors to develop their TV series screenwriting projects during a five-month period that will alternate live meetings to online working sessions. At the end of the residency, the participants will have developed their initial idea into the structured screenplay for the pilot episode, which will then be presented at Scuola Holden, in a pitching session with a group of professionals from the main Italian production companies. The course will be run by Federico Favot, in collaboration with Videe, Lago Film Fest and Associazione Progetto Marco.

Federico Favot graduated from Scuola Holden and attended the Rai/Script perfecting course for screenwriters. He is the screenwriter and head writer for TV series I Cesaroni, Il Commissario Rex and Tutti Insieme All’Improvviso (of which he is the author of the original synopsis and creative producer). He has signed the

screenplay for more than 60 hours of prime time TV for Rai and Mediaset, edited over 200 and is currently writing a new series for Sky. He has also written the film for cinema La Gente Che Sta Bene. He is the co-author of novels Quello che non sai di me, Ovunque andrai e Però mi manchi, published by Sperling&Kupfer.
