From editing, that which creates a dialogue between images and makes them transcend themselves, is born “Blob”, the classic from RaiTre which has recently reached the prestigious milestone of 25 years. A show without hosts, made exclusively of tv scenes, skits, technical errors, put together in fast sequence and forced to stand on their own. A game that is only apparently simple, it’s actually the result of a sharp authorial sensitivity along with a well-trained critical thinking, and hold up by a meticulous mechanism.

The workshop offers the opportunity to disassemble and study this mechanism, putting yourself to the test on the field: coordinated remotely from “Blob” itself, which renews the collaboration with Lago Film Fest sending traces and thoughts, it aims at the production of mash-up videos characterised  by a satiric and situationist look.

Television on paper, or the illegitimate son of two mediums on embargo. Blob becomes a fanzine for the time of one single issue, and it does that at Lago Film Fest: a horn of plenty filled with the best moments in twenty-five years of Society of the Spectacle, purposefully chosen by the creators of the programme, freeze on the page and becomes a tangible fetish, in ultra-limited edition.
