We selected 109 films divided into 9 sections, from 42 countries, including 8 world premieres and 8 international premieres, 6 European premieres, 67 Italian premieres and 22 regional premieres selected from more than 3000 films.

Great international directors, very young talents, bold and daring works, the best of national and Venetian film production, animations for adults and children, and the poetry in motion of the competition dedicated to video dance, will make up an unmissable programming.

4500 minutes of out-of-competition cinema programming divided into retrospectives, fireworks, thematic focuses and special screenings.

Four retrospectives previously unseen in Italy, from a tribute to the undisputed master of contemporary cinema Lav Diaz, the aesthetic and political research of Cyril Schäublin, the exploratory cinema of Helena Wittmann to the connected humanity in the cinema of Eduardo Williams; the focus investigating China through contemporary science fiction; the daring and irreverent animations of Surrealistic Symphony; the interpretation of modern South African cinema in The Ethereal Rainbow focus; the conscious visual stimulation of “Toys for Adults“; and “Frontiers,” Lago Film Fest’s new visual space dedicated to the contamination between cinema and the arts, which this year presents the incredible work of the research group Forensic Architecture. And much more!

The Dialogato Festival is the gyro compass with which to orient oneself and delve deeper into the festival’s contents, from the surface to the depths of the lake.

Signplicity is a project that aims to create a union between the hearing community and deaf culture by using the artistic key as a tool for individual and collective expression to demonstrate that diversity is the common means of strength for every human being to stand out and find their uniqueness.
