An independent festival.
An impossibile dream.
One name: Kevin Bacon.

Films in competition

Cinema. So much Cinema.

The result of a year of research is LAGO26 a unified, wide and amazing competition with incredible films from all over the world. And the Triveneto Competition, dedicated to the talents of the Veneto, Trentino e Friuli regions. Lastly, Princípî Award: the under 25-years-old directors that will change the world.

UNICEF COMPETITIONS

The audience of the future.

We have been thinking about families, children, and teens by creating an increasingly diverse offering, ranging from the screening of Unicef Kids, Unicef Teens and Unicef Young Adults competition films to a schedule of workshops and activities for the very youngest. For a memorable festival that can be enjoyed by everyone.

SPECIAL SECTIONS

Film to Discover and Special Screenings.

Lateral visions, bodies in motion, rebellious archives, distant memories, and animal gazes.

SPECIAL GUESTS

Names That Matter, According to Us.

Each competition has its own jury. Some are names to discover, joining us at Lago for the first time, while others include juries made up of kids and teens, the popular jury (yes, you can be part of it too), and the Local Experts jury.

EXPANDED FESTIVAL

Dancing, Singing, Watching, Listening.

We never stop. A program of concerts before and after sunset, unexpected performances and installations.

ACTIVITIES FOR YOU

Breakfasts, Meetings, Workshops

Every day, two events designed for the audience: one in the morning (at breakfast) and one before sunset (during the aperitif) to meet the festival’s guests. A program of creative workshops divided by age groups (but we’ve included everyone from 0 to 99 years old), masterclasses, and thematic round tables. Yes, you will definitely find something that intrigues you.

Cinema Professionals Barefoot, by the lake.

Barefoot Industry Days

We have reinvented the idea of Industry Days: everyone together barefoot for two days by the lake. A program of meetings, masterclasses, group activities, and of course, sunset aperitifs. Two days of networking, professional interaction, and inspiration. Our “industry” days are the opposite of everything you find at other festivals. They are inclusive rather than exclusive, and access is granted with an industry accreditation.
