For the third year in a row, this very fun puppetry and busking event returns to Lago. Formerly launched in collaboration with Alberto De Bastiani and the Festival Internazionale dei burattini “Fausto Braga” (Fausto Braga International Puppet Festival) of Colle Umberto, soon became one of the most appreciated shows nationally for its unique flavour, the wise choice of shows and the suggestive setting of the old courtyards of Borgo Mescolino. The festival is promoted by the Council of Colle Umberto, in collaboration with Il Piccolo Principe and the Istadea organisation, under the artistic direction of Alberto De Bastiani, this year for the first time in tandem with the Collettivo di Ricerca Teatrale of Vittorio Veneto.

The three unusual performers, Unnico, Annica and the faithful Spank are authentic stage animals who know how to win over the audience and lead them into their cheerful, carefree dimension, where the conflicts between the two human clowns are often solved by man’s best friend.

A red button pops out from Clott’s head. It holds him together and makes him feel different… A surprising, universal and philosophical piece of innovative puppet theatre. Arriba las Hu! Manos is a theatre company founded in 2009 from the encounter of two artists from the two sides of the Cordillera of the Andes: Enrique Crohare Niño from Chile and Laura Soledad Mac Laughlin from Argentina.

An eclectic performer who likes to experiment with new ways of entertaining in solo or with other artists, in the great Italian tradition of the itinerant cantastorie (storytellers), who tell their stories and sing their songs in each piazza they happen to be. In addition to the bass drums and cymbals of any self-respecting one-man band, Felice is one of the most renowned players of musical saw you may ever find.
