MOVING BODIES
FROM THIS YEAR THE MOVING BODIES PROJECT, DEDICATED TO VIDEO DANCE, BECOMES ONE OF THE OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS OF THE LAGO FILM FEST 2021. The selected short films will be evaluated by a jury of professionals.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR INTERNATIONAL FICTION, ANIMATIONS OR DOCUMENTARIES DEDICATED TO DANCE IN VIDEOS OF A MAXIMUM DURATION OF 20 MINUTES AND PRODUCED BETWEEN 2019 AND 2021.

What is Moving Bodies?
Let us imagine for the present and especially for the future that this project, which includes both video dance and performing art, is a BAUHAUS of dance that keeps within itself the co-production, the idea of active laboratory, the deep union of all the artistic disciplines making them converge in a harmonious interaction.
Achieving a perfect cultural union, a Gesamtkunstwerk, a synthesis of the arts in the highest sense nobler more utopian and prolific. Like Diaghilev’s Ballet Russe, which for the first time gathered around the dance composers, stylists, visual artists, painters, poets and intellectuals, bringing the ballet to one of its heyday.
