Dance returns to Lago again, demanding new fields to thrive in: our usual program of site-specific performances will go hand in hand with a selection of videos and short films about dance.
The OPEN CALL LAGO DANCE FEST 2020 is aimed at CHOREOGRAPHERS AND DIRECTORS PERFORMERS who want to bring their choreographic installation or video work inside the Lago Film Fest.

What is Lago Dance Fest?
Lago Dance Fest was born in 2015 and developed within the Lago Film Fest from which it takes its greatest inspiration and its lifeblood to continue and evolve. The project was born with the desire to challenge the usual laws of dance by bringing it out of conventional spaces, therefore in constant dialogue with urban spaces and the nature of Lago, all the projects chosen and presented are rigorously site specific
designed for space hosting the Festival thus making houses the lake and the squares the scenes of a performance under the stars. We believe in the immense value of putting dance in contact with people through the place that is re-imagined and remodeled aiming at contaminating the arts. For this reason we also present a section dedicated to dance screening, a sector in full development for several years now.
