Long Short Films Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan- Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions. The aim is to create a new platforms for the promotion and exhibition of emerging talents and new voices in cinema worldwide, and to offer film makers, professional, students and audience the chance to exchange their experiences in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, Shanghai.
The show case is an overview on new trends and currents in Chinese cinema featuring a varied assortment of fictions, animations, documentaries and experimental films that represent some of the most engaging and innovative voices of contemporary cinema.
