“LOOKING FOR LOVE” WITH KURZFILMTAGE – LFF2013
Kurzfilmtage Winterthur is Switzerland’s most important short film festival and enjoys an excellent reputation among filmmakers, industry and audience. It takes place each year in November (5-10, 2013) and attracts around 16’000 spectators and 3’800 submissions for its competitions. Former jury members attending the festival include people from Quinzaine des Re?alisateurs, Venice Film Festival, Berlinale Shorts, Sundance. Apart from compiling innovative programs, the Kurzfilmtage offer a lively international platform for professional exchange. Its archive contains more than 30’000 shorts and is available for research purposes. The festival’s framework program comprises activities like the Producer’s Day, the Film School Day, and panel talks.
For Lago Film Fest, John Canciani and Laura Walde have curated 2 programs focusing on sexuality and intimacy: “We explore and test the boundaries of what is commonly acceptable and what is widely rejected
and ask you: Aren’t we all oversexed but underfucked?”
