The jury at L.O.S.T.—the Lago Original Soundtrack Award—called to designate the best soundtrack / sound design in the short films in competition, share their expertise to describe the imaginative power of cinematographic sound, and indicate the paths through which it increases the level of emotional
involvement and fascination springing from the pictures. An can’t-miss set of views—or rather “visions”—on the direction of film music in the contemporary world, among rules and experiments, tradition and innovative technology.
