PRINCÌPÎ AWARD COMPETITION – LFF2021

Princìpî Award is the new Lago Film Fest competition dedicated to the most promising short film directors under 25 in world cinema.

It is designed to be both a competitive section of the festival and a training and in-depth course, capable of providing additional tools to the filmmakers selected for the promotion of their work.In its first edition, the competition focused on the search for new voices in independent cinema, of any genre and origin, identifying 7 courageous works, which rewrite the codes of the art form and open interesting glimpses on current issues.From existential and gender reflections to social roles, passing through the elaboration of mourning and emotional ties to the time of social networks, we will immerse ourselves in the innovative and daring gaze of these filmmakers (5 women, 2 men) capable of giving us back the world through unprecedented points of view.All the films of the Princìpî Award competition will have its Italian premiere.
