KINO KABARET

FILMMAKERS AT THE GYM

For the first time ever Lago Film fest host his first Kino Kabaret. Kino Kabaret is a filmmaking event without competition, best described as a video “jam-session”. Collaboration is the key – no matter what your skills are – and you may learn a few new ones along the way. Kino is an international movement created as a means of providing both amateur and professional filmmakers with a place to create and screen their short-films.

Participants have a short set amount of time to write, direct, edit and screen films publicly within only a few days. As with all things Kino, we want people to get active, be productive, and find their creative voice. If you’re new to filmmaking, or even if you’re a seasoned professional, the Kabaret is a great way to flex your creative muscles, meet your local filmmakers, and learn a thing or two about low-budget, high-speed production.

There are no limitations of which kind of project you should make. The only limitation is time.

The Workshop will be hosted by Ritta Rhythä from finnish arm of Kino “Euphoria Borealis”, which will also be featured during the Festival with a special selection of short films.
