MUTTY PRESENTS DANDELION – LFF2017
“Dandelion” is the new animated short by illustrator Elisa Talentino. The project, started during an artist residency in the mountainous territories on the border between Italy and France, was entirely hand-drawn and depicts dance as a metaphor of a love encounter. Through a thousand watercolour drawings and the soundtrack composed by Julia Kent, the artist paid homage to an ancient dance, a courtship ritual that is typical of the Occitan region. The artist will be present to present the project, which anticipates her exhibition at Mutty, opening in December 2017.
