DOVE VA LA VIDEOARTE ITALIANA? – TALK

TUESDAY 23rd JULY
h. 9:30 p.m.

Curator Carlo Sala in dialogue with the artists shortlisted at the Fabbri Award, and namely: Pamela Breda, Lorenzo Casali and Micol Roubini, Lucia Cristiani, Irene Dionisio, Roberto Fassone, Riccardo Giacconi, Gianluca Marinelli, Elena Mazzi, Caterina Shanta, Luca Staccioli and Sara Tirelli. The Italian emerging authors working in video art do so via a plurality of approaches: from found footage

movies to the neo-documentary vision; from aestheticizing atmospheres to expressions of the post-Internet visual culture; from performance documentation to sarcasm through nonsense. This exhibition curated by Carlo Sala presents a series of videos by shortlisted authors of various editions of the Francesco Fabbri Prize for Contemporary Arts.
