HOMAGE TO ALEXANDRE KOBERIDZE – LFF2021

Alexandre Koberidze is one of the most interesting and promising directors of contemporary cinema.

Able to impose himself on the world scene with dreamy and poetic films such as Let the Summer Never Come Again and the recent What Do We See When We Look at the Sky?, critically acclaimed at the last Berlinale, Koberidze is a singer of fairy tales that sound like symphonies, an absolute “believer” in the magic of cinema, in the freedom to tell stories.

In a particularly important year for Georgian cinema, Lago Film Fest has decided to pay homage to one of the leading directors of this new wave, Alexandre Koberidze, by screening the 4 short films he directed, which will be presented at the festival in Italian premiere, and will be available both in presence and online.

Four little gems that form the cinema of The Perfect Spectator to the river of Colophon, passing through the bar of Der Fall, will make us look at the world with different eyes and reveal the talent of this unique filmmaker.
